Getting here from Takayama Station
Jukusei Hida Beef Yakiniku GYU-SUKE is about a 1-minute walk from the east exit of Takayama Station on the JR Takayama Main Line (5-20-3 Hanasato-machi, Takayama, Gifu). Look for the diagonal lattice facade and white noren curtain.
Because we are so close to the station, many guests visit right after arriving in Takayama, at the end of a day of sightseeing, or while waiting for their train home.
Opening hours and lunchtime
We are open 11:00–22:00 (last food order 21:00 / last drink order 21:30), every day of the year.
At lunchtime we serve the same courses and à la carte menu as in the evening. There is no separate lunch set. As a guide, the average spend is 5,001–6,000 yen at lunch and 7,001–8,000 yen in the evening.
What we serve
We use only A5-grade Hida beef from heifers that have never calved, a particularly rare category, aged in our own original terahertz-wave aging chamber.
There are three courses, all available from one person: the GYU-SUKE Full Course (11 dishes, 15,000 yen incl. tax), the Special Lean Full Course (11 dishes, 12,000 yen incl. tax) and the Daily Recommended Full Course (10 dishes, 11,000 yen incl. tax). An à la carte menu and an English menu are also available.
Seating, private room and private hire
There are 94 seats, all at tables, and the whole restaurant is non-smoking. Sofa seating is available for 36 guests. Children are welcome, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
Our fully private VIP room seats up to 10 guests. It has its own entrance passage, so you will not meet other guests, and its own restroom. For private hire of the whole restaurant (up to 94 seated guests), please contact us by phone or in person.
Reservations, payment and parking
Online reservations are accepted until 17:00 on the day of your visit. Reservations can be made for 11:00–21:00, and tables are held for 2 hours. You can also reserve by phone (+81-577-57-8293).
We accept credit cards (VISA / Mastercard / American Express / Diners Club / JCB), e-money (Suica / PASMO / nanaco / ICOCA / iD / QUICPay) and QR code payments (PayPay / Rakuten Pay / d-barai / au PAY).
If you come by car, show your parking ticket and coupon and we will refund 300 yen (incl. tax).
